Asim Awdah

I'm Asim Awdah. I build software, with a particular interest in developer tools and infrastructure.

I care about making programming easier to approach and about building software that helps people do their work. The details matter to me: how a tool behaves when something goes wrong, whether you can understand what it is doing, and whether it asks for more attention than the task deserves.

This site is where I write through those ideas. The essays are about software, tools, and the choices we make while building them. I publish them as plain Markdown because I want writing here to stay simple.

You can find me on Twitter, GitHub, or by email. The RSS feed is there if you'd rather follow along that way.
